Meet the Writer

This film started off as a short called "Pin the Fist on the Idiot". Unable to finish shooting it in one afternoon the director/writer (Nathan Andersen) went home and tried to figure out a way they could shoot the rest of it with out calling any of the actors back. He did this mainly because one of them lived 4 hours away and was just visiting. That began the birth of Lucy. The story got bigger and brighter everyday. When the Nathan comfronted Danny and brought the story to him, Danny seemed a bit reluctant thinking that it would take too much time and forever to shoot. Indeed it did, it took about 8 months to shoot and they had to constantly worry about Dannys hair, and clothes changing by the minute. Not to mention Sarah who plays Lucy is a growing girl. Our first day shooting with Sarah went well but had to train her to NOT look at the camera. The first scene Sarah seemed more shy and introvert being her first day of shooting. By the end of the film Sarah was very extrovert and forward so we went back and reshot the first scene we had shot with Sarah. We also decided to reshoot the "Pin the fist on the Idiot" scene with new actors with the exception of the leader played by Aaron. Entirely shot on mini DV we bought a sony camera and payed for costumes, food, props and sometimes peoples gas out of pocket. Thus far the budget has been somewhere between 1000 dollars and 2000 dollars.
